If you are a wagyu lover, this place is a MUST GO. The quality of their wagyu meat is outstanding, they melt in your mouth in couple of seconds. Staff were very attentive. Their clear broth shabu shabu is the best way to showcase the pure, delicious flavor of Japanese Wagyu beef.

Wife had a pregnancy craving for hotpot, so we booked and went to Hanasuki despite it being the middle of summer. Thought it’d be too hot and a bit of a heavy meal, but was pleasantly surprised by the opposite. Excellent meal - should have never doubted considering its sister shop is “Choji Yakiniku”. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, but service was a little slow, probably because it was such a quiet day. Aside from that, we would definitely go again. Extra points for kid meals and being super welcoming to our son.

This is the one of the nicest Japanese restaurants in Sydney with beautiful food and the high quality of service. It's a good restaurant to gather for family events, to have valuable guests as well. You won't be disappointed~:)

We had a great shabu shabu dinner last night, the food is fresh and we enjoyed the different variety. Service is attentive and the place is comfortable (including the toilet!). We'd be keen to go back and try other dishes on the menu.

Our group of eight enjoyed dinner at Hanasuki in Chatswood, and it was an excellent shabu-shabu experience. The beef was the clear highlight—tender, flavorful, and of noticeably high quality. The set menu included unlimited vegetables, which kept the meal balanced and enjoyable for everyone. Service was polite and attentive, and the staff made sure our table was always stocked with what we needed. To finish, the dessert options were simple but very good, especially refreshing after hotpot. The restaurant atmosphere is warm and modern, making it a great place for groups. Overall, we had a delicious meal with great company, and I would recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese hotpot in Sydney.

I absolutely loved this place! It was my first time trying sukiyaki, and the dining experience was fantastic. I slowly simmered marbled beef then dipped the it into the raw egg, it gave a wonderfully mellow flavor that truly captures the authentic Japanese taste. The dinner was exceptional, with service that felt like a six-star experience. What a fabulous day, and my tummy was warm and satisfied! And don’t forget to leave some space for the final course, a delicious porridge created by blending all the flavors from the meat and vegetable, the sauce is rich and indulgent, with the addition of eggs and rice. It’s the perfect way to conclude your meal.

This is probably one of the nicest Japanese hotpot restaurants in Sydney. The interior design, the cleanliness, the service is all top notch. The Wagyu selection was so good everything melts in your mouth. Only reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is it is extremely expensive - 4 of us spent an easy $500 and we weren’t really full.

My family of 5 had a wonderful lunch at Hanasuki Chatswood over the long labour holiday weekend. We ordered the shabu shabu and sukiyaki sets of Wagyu and pork belly. The meal was exquisite and all the ingredients were of high quality. Eddie took his time to explain the menu and demonstrated how to cook the meat sukiyaki style. Then Yaya with her friendly smile made us feel like VIPs catering to all our requests. Their service was top notched and is very commendable. All in all the atmosphere, food and beautiful service delivered makes Hanasuki a 5 star experience.
